Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom

I’ll defer you to my video review first, as I said pretty much all I have to say.

I’ll just add that Chadwick Boseman’s character is named Levee Green. Great character, thanks partly to the writing but more to his performance. Great way to go out Black Panther.

I might have angered some Viola Davis fans with what I said, but if that’s how you feel say so. I encourage reader/viewer participation!

Bottom Line: Yay Boseman, nay Davis.
