I’ll repeat what I said about the first film: Deadpool 2 is a great R-rated comic superhero movie! We get more of the laughs – this time with a lot of black comedy (especially as it pertains to the gang of misfits who try to be Deadpool’s team). We get an even better story, with Josh Brolin playing another Marvel villain the same year he played Thanos!
Millennials initially knew him as the big brother in Goonies…although this movie thought millennials were small children at the time. 🤦
We get some more cool fight sequences, with more explicit tie-ins to the X-Men universe. We get a hilariously inspired credits sequence that brings Deadpool full circle.
We…get more nudity, but this time it’s only Ryan Reynolds. Oh well.
Movie’s a blast though.
Bottom Line: Watch it and have fun.
